Avoiding ragged edges when removing the lid from an open can is tricky. By cutting below the edge on the side of the can, the OXO Good Grips Smooth Edge Can Opener leaves no metal behind. You can even replace the lid for smart storage. The side-wind knob is easy to turn and has a comfortable non-slip grip. The hardened stainless steel cutting wheel doesn't come into contact with the cans contents, while built-in pliers allow for touch-free lid removal. Hand wash with soap and water. How to use: 1. Align cutting wheels to top of can. Close handles to lock in place. 2. Turn clockwise; ridged indents on the inside of the lid show its working. 3. Turn counterclockwise, then open handles. Use the built-in pliers to remove lid.
